BOYS VARSITY BASKETBALL
From 1948 through 1958, the CYO crowned one (1) champion, from 1959 through 1973 there were two (2) champions (A and B) and from 1974 through 1979 there were (AAA, A and B) and from 1980 to the present, one (1) champion. Thirty (30) schools and parishes have claimed the coveted AAA trophy. St. Paul & Augustine has the most championships with ten (10), won from 1971-1986. Sacred Heart and Holy Family have won five (5), Lourdes and St. Gabriel's have won four (4). (St. Gabriel's has also won two (2) A titles for a total of six (6). Three (3) schools, Sacred Heart (1952-54), Lourdes (1957-59) and St. Paul & Augustine (1972-74) have won the title three (3) years in a row.

GIRLS VARSITY BASKETBALL
Our Lady of Mercy has won the most championships with eight (8), followed by St. Ann's with seven (7), St. Jude's with six (6), St Mary's, Rockville and Blessed Sacrament with five (5). Twenty-four (24) schools or parishes have won the title. Seven (7) teams have won back to back championships on ten (10) occasions but no team has won three (3) straight. St. Ann's has the most back to back titles with three (3). St. Ann's and Mercy have also each won an A championship.
